Le porte-parole du gouvernement ivoirien, Sidi Tiemoko Touré a réagi au sujet de la tentative d’arrestation de Guillaume Soro, telle que rapportée par le concerné lui-même, à Barcelone en Espagne, dans la nuit du lundi 7 octobre 2019 au mardi 8 octobre 2019.
Interrogé à Abidjan dans la journée du lundi 14 octobre 2019, Sidi Touré, ministre de la communication et des médias a dit :« Le gouvernement ivoirien n’est en aucune manière impliqué dans cette affaire».
Le membre du gouvernement ivoirien n’a pas jugé utile de faire d’autres commentaires, ni d’autres observations sur la véracité ou non de l’affaire, tel que rapportée par Guillaume Soro, qui tout en disant n’avoir pas toutes les preuves, avait quand même mis en cause la section ivoirienne d’Interpol, qui aurait selon lui, agi en intelligence avec la section Interpol de l’Espagne, à l’insu du siège au Lyon, et des autorités officielles espagnoles, à en croire un échange qu’il a eu avec l’ambassadeur de l’Espagne à Abidjan.

The spokesman for the Ivorian government, Sidi Tiemoko Touré, reacted to Guillaume Soro’s attempted arrest, as reported by the person concerned himself, in Barcelona, Spain, on the night of Monday 7 October 2019 to Tuesday 8 October 2019.
When questioned in Abidjan on Monday 14 October 2019, Sidi Touré, Minister of Communication and Media, said: “The Ivorian government is in no way involved in this case”.
The member of the Ivorian government did not consider it useful to make any further comments or observations on the veracity or otherwise of the case, as reported by Guillaume Soro, who, while claiming not to have all the evidence, had nevertheless implicated the Ivorian section of Interpol, which, according to him, acted in intelligence with the Spanish Interpol section, without the knowledge of the headquarters in Lyon, and with the Spanish official authorities, according to an exchange he had with the Spanish ambassador in Abidjan.
